The world-famous building in Chicago

          Today we are going to talk about a building which is very fascinating and a very well-deigned  building that is called the world’s largest building. Its name is Merchandise Mart and which is located in 222, Merchandise Mart plaza, Chicago, Illinois. Construction of  buildimng started in August 16,1928 and was completed in 1930. It was built for Marshall field & company. Art has 25 story central tower and 4,200,000 square feet of space and two city blocks and has an attractive art deco interior. It was created by Graham, Anderson, Probst and White but art main contractor name is John W. Griffiths & Sons. In this building, approximately 21000 people come here to see it every day.

           Merchandise Mart was started as a wholesale market for store owners. It then became a center of home furniture, office interior designs, plenty restaurants and home-made showrooms, but its has also become a vibrant tech hub. It has became famous as a television studios or radio station in inside. For example NBC studios and WENR AND WMAQ telecast from the location. In 2007, the mart was medaled LEED silver Certification and 2013 Lead Gold Certification and in 2018.

         When I saw this building for the first time I was surprised how this happened. It was art totally incredible building. There are very broad selection  of showrooms, restaurant and professional offices. A lot of different things to do inside there. It is iconic space.  Probably, it is very cool for that people who are very interested in interior deigns and architecture. Merchandise Mart has there own zip code and own 'L' station.
